CNPV Announces Appointment of Key Personnel in South Asia

LUXEMBOURG and DONGYING, China, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- CNPV Solar Power SA, a public limited liability company organized under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, today announced the appointment of Mr. Ponsekar Periyanadar as Vice President Sales and Marketing, South Asia.

With a first class degree in Mechanical Engineering, gained at Madurai Kamaraj University, India, and as a Certified Energy Auditor, from Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, New Dehli, Mr. Ponsekar has significant academic qualifications and expertise that have been supplemented with extensive and relevant industry experience.

Over 21 years of professional experience in the power sector with more than 11 of these years in a leadership role within the solar photovoltaic industry has been obtained as a result of working with Tata BP Solar India Ltd, and Reliance Industries Ltd. Excellent techno-commercial knowledge on large grid connected solar power plants and specialized rooftop and Off-grid Solar power plants for wide range of applications covering Green Buildings, Banking, Railways, Telecom, Oil & gas, Defence, Highway infrastructure, and other governmental sector make Mr. Ponsekar ideally placed to guide, support and gain high customer satisfaction. The net effect is part of the CNPV strategy; Profitable growth to the client, and CNPV will attain similar gains.

Mr. Ponsekar will be located in Bangalore, southern part of India to best serve the South Asian market. Reporting directly to Mr. Bypina Veerraju Chaudary, Chief Operating Officer of CNPV, he will increase the effectiveness of the regional support and the efficiency of the Company as a whole.
